Central Committee, Communist Party of the Philippines
March 29, 2022
Full of revolutionary fervor and vigor, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), together with the Filipino people and their revolutionary forces, are celebrating today the 53rd anniversary of the New People's Army. Let us celebrate the victories of the past year and the accumulated achievements of the past five decades of armed resistance.
I. The inter-imperialist armed conflict will prolong the global crisis of capitalism
1) The unresolved long -term crisis of the global capitalist system continues to worsen as monopoly capitalists face the problem of overproduction and the associated increase in the level of unsold inventory and plummeting commodity prices and profit rates.
2) Since becoming the sole superpower when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the US has been confident of bringing manufacturing to China, raising investment and transferring technology and not just small factories. Incidentally, it undermined self-manufacturing and employment of workers.
3) The US/NATO war in Ukraine against Russia broke out after eight years of aggression by Ukrainian fascists against the Donbass region since the 2014 coup, several months of gathering military troops on the border of the people's republics there and no wanton bombardment of civilian infrastructures.
4) From a strategic point of view, it is (Russia’s) response to the aggressive push of both US imperialism, the puppet regime and fascist allies in Ukraine since the US -backed coup in 2014, to enclose Ukraine in Russia which will further strengthen intrusion of military bases and intelligence facilities built by the US, UK and NATO near Russia.
5) The proxy war in Ukraine once again proves that imperialism is the equivalent of war.
6) While providing arms and military aid to Ukraine, the US and its NATO allies have also imposed comprehensive financial and commodity harassment measures against Russia.
7) US pressure is also exacerbated by European countries that import 50% of its natural gas supply from Russia.
8) Russia’s oil crackdown has resulted in supply disruptions and is being exploited by oil monopoly companies, oil producing countries, financial investors and hedge funds involved in oil speculation to raise the price of crude oil and products. petroleum.
9) (M) the capitalist crisis is once again on the rise. The soaring prices of petroleum products are driving up the cost of production and threatening to prolong the crisis of the global capitalist system.
10) The global centers of capitalism are still mired in crisis and plagued by the problem of poor production and soaring debt.
11) At the heart of the global crisis of capitalism is the unsolvable problem of overproduction, oversupply of goods and over -accumulation of capital by the dominant monoopoly bourgeoisie due to capitalist competition and anarchy in production.
12) The US and other global centers of capitalism continue to turn to military Keynesianism to keep production going.
13) The fundamental capitalist contradiction between social production and private accumulation of surplus value continues to intensify, as wealth and capital are increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few monoopoly capitalists.
14) On the other hand, the working and toiling masses are suffering from more severe forms of exploitation and oppression and are more and more mired in hunger, extreme poverty and deplorable social conditions.
15) The deteriorating socio-economic situation is giving rise to widespread mass protests in various parts of the world to oppose neoliberal economic measures, fascist pressure and imperialist war.
16) The conditions are becoming increasingly favorable for the advance of the revolutionary armed struggle.
