Ukrainian media posted a photo of a British Challenger 2 with cages installed against kamikaze drones. This is the first real evidence of these vehicles showing up on front line: previously they've only been spotted at training grounds.

Zaporozhye direction.

It is reported that since yesterday, the enemy has brought into battle a tactical group called "Marun".
Also on this sector of the front in the battles for the first time appeared German BMP "Marder", American armored personnel carriers "Stryker", British tanks "Chelenger".
These formations were intended to develop success and enter the battle after breaking through the front.  But in connection with Our powerful defense and huge losses, they were introduced now.  The destruction of the American Stryker armored personnel carrier in the Zaporozhye direction indicates that the Ukrainian Armed Forces threw the penultimate reserves into the offensive in this sector.

The Challengers are in service with the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the AFU from the Maroon tactical group. This photo, along with the destroyed Stryker photo, implies Ukrainian commanders are bringing in the earlier reserve formations for a strike in the Orikhiv direction.

感觉按照这个情况发展下去，战事有可能在冬季之前结束？我不懂军事，但明显乌军已经是强弩之末了。
另外，远航同志对于英语学习有什么看法？
身在中国的我们需要掌握这门世界性的语言吗？
另外有没有什么比较有效率的英语学习方法，我尝试与外国人在软件上直接沟通，但除了日常用语，学到的还是有限。

我的看法是，英语需要学，但绝对不应该列为中小学的必修课。

如果有条件，学好英语，在当前条件下还是有帮助的。

我们当年可都是在前网络时代学英语的，有些经验可能不太管用。

在掌握一定词汇量后，可以试着从阅读自己感兴趣的文章、杂志、书籍做起。现在经常讨论俄乌战争，可以借此机会先看一些英文网络文章，比如这里：

书籍方面，如果在北京，可以去国家图书馆外文阅览室，里面应该可以找到许多国外左翼或马克思主义学者的著作；如果在其他地区，可以到省图书馆试试看。

说实话，我觉得学外语的必要性在增加，主要原因是简中互联网的环境越来越恶劣，直接倒腾墙外内容赚信息差的人越来越多，举报掉网上的免费资源以达到垄断的电子书文档贩子越来越多。虽然国外互联网的环境也很糟糕，但尚且比较容易找到那些有用的内容提供者，像互联网档案馆、scihub等
或者说，很讽刺的是，现在学外语的原因就是为了不被某些会外语的人骗。

我的经验是选几本自己感兴趣的英文书籍阅读，然后写英文读书笔记。此外，听英文广播也不错，The Duran，Judging Freedom 都很好。要是平时玩游戏的话，切换到英文。
