Russians have chosen the best and worst rulers in the history of the country. Kommersant writes about this with reference to the results of a study by the Russian Field research group.The most popular in Russia were Peter I and Catherine II (82 and 71 percent respectively), Joseph Stalin closes the top three (65 percent).The anti-rating was headed by Boris Yeltsin (19 percent) and Mikhail Gorbachev (17 percent).
